Flavor-of-the-day thinkers often refer only to well know sports, business or military leaders for lessons of leadership development. At N Vision, we feel that in every human transaction, someone is leading and someone is following. We view leadership development as a highly personal and dynamic process and something that everyone has both a right and a need to pursue. In the words of the late Peter F. Drucker, “leaders grow, they are not made.”
In 2007, we designed and delivered leadership and management learning solutions in 9 countries. More than 1500 "global players," representing 29 organizations from 48 different nationalities joined us to improve their leadership and management skills.
“Leaders learning for profit” is our motto. While most dictionaries define profit as a tangible business result, the origin of the word profit means “to progress and to advance”. This means leaders achieving or exceeding tangible business targets through unleashing the intangible potential in themselves, in teams and organizations they lead. Our passion and expertise are in developing people, as leaders, to learn for profit.
The question “How do you develop leaders?” we answer through PACE & PRACTICE². Our Thought Leadership platform, PACE & PRACTICE² captures the dynamic essence of our philosophy, experience and approach to leadership development including both our soft practice and hard practice. By focusing on soft and hard practice, the emotional and the cognitive, the head and the heart, we engage the whole person as a leader. We are convinced that the resulting synergy multiplies the impact of our learning interventions many times over.
Secondly, N Vision’s success comes from designing and leading learning solutions that are deeply relevant to the learning leader’s current and future leadership experience. We believe that leaders, when given the time, space and resources to learn how to manage and succeed in their environments, will do so.
